I+D Studio was honoured to be named winner of the Aged Care Design 2020 award at the 4th Annual Workspace Awards for our interior design work at Monta Tait Gardens, RSL LifeCare’s new master-planned aged care residence in Kaleen ACT.
Great aged care design enables and enriches the lives of the residents whilst supporting the people who care for them. Mona Tait Gardens has the look and feel of a beautifully designed home, not an aged care facility, whilst meeting all aged care needs and standards. Our over-riding aim was to deinstitutionalise the environment by creating a beautiful and sophisticated home-like environment with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. We have designed a home where residents are proud to live, where they are supported to age in place, and where they can welcome their families and connect with their local community.
